Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM Review

*Warning: This is a long review*
Good evening everyone! I'm back with more LV goodies and today's piece is a truly iconic bag. I just purchased this bag a little over a week ago and am now finally deciding to do a review. So here it is guys the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM in Damier Azur!

This is one of the most popular LV bags around and it is also very often imitated. The MM is the medium size of the three Neverfulls and is, in my opinion, the most practical.

Before getting this bag I was extremely unsure about whether I even wanted it. I have NEVER been a Neverfull fan because I don't use totes much and I just seen this bag as too big and bulky. After watching a million reviews I finally decided that this was a piece I needed in my collection so I figured that since I don't like totes the PM would be the perfect size for me. The PM is very cute and petite and does not look like an oversized beach bag so it seemed practical for everyday use. A few weeks after I decided on purchasing the PM, I went to a party and actually seen someone with the PM and realized it looked childishly small. There was no way I was going to be able to carry all my essentials in that bag and I knew I would end up extremely unhappy with my purchase. I did a little bit more research and decided to give the MM a chance.

Since I already have the Speedy 25 in the Damier Ebene print I chose to get the Damier Azur. The first two days I had the bag I was very cautious when using it because I had read that the Azur print is extremely easy to dirty and that the leather straps stain easily. I was torn between returning the Azur for an Ebene print just because I know I am very harsh on my bags and I didn't want my bag to get disgustingly dirty looking.

I read many reviews on the patina of this bag and everyone seems to have a different opinion of this bag once it has begun to patina. I ended up deciding that I wanted to just give this bag a try and keep it. (My straps are still very cream colored and I will write another review when the leather has begun to patina) . I also bought baby wipes just incase the canvas gets stained because I have read that the wipes will take away any stains if they are immediately caught.

Overall, I love this bag so far. There is nothing negative to say because although I thought this bag would be too large it actually is the perfect size. I feel as though no matter what size or stature you are that this bag will look elegant on. Also, the sides of the bags cinch in so that it gives the purse a more elegant look when you are wearing the bag to a more formal event.

This bag is my go-to everyday bag right now because it fits all my school books and my binder with ease. The SA at the LV store told me that the straps of this bag are engineered to hold up to 400lbs, but I will never be holding that much because it will hurt my shoulders. This bag also has no zipper on top as most people know, but it has a very nice decently large zippered pouch inside incase you want to hold your wallet or whatever else in a safe spot. There is a top clasp so the bag can stay closed, and there is a D-ring on the side to hook keys/keychains.

This is just a simple bag that I think all LV lovers should have just because it is so basic yet functional. I am really excited to see what the bag looks like when a patina starts to form and I will update this review or just write a new one. If anyone has any tips on how to keep the canvas nice and clean please let me know. Also, I would love to hear your opinions on what you think of this bag with or without a patina.

Pros:
- Very spacious and roomy
- Bag can be worn two ways (Sides cinched in or sides released)
- Has a big side pocket with zipper to hold valuables

Cons:
- Thin straps can hurt shoulders if there is too much inside
- No top zipper

xo,
T.
